Naked Ecstatic Dance! [Triangle Area Social]

Ecstatic dance is a form of open, improvisational dance - or moving together without inhibitions! Some describe it as dancing like nobody is watching, only in a group. The rhythm of the music is your guidance and is intended to lead the individual freely enough to expose the purest form of ecstasy: life. We dance without words and as we are: No judgements, expectations, drugs/alcohol, phones, camera/video, Shoulds or Oughts… Just Be Yourself!

We will begin with an opening circle explaining group agreements: Respect for Ourselves, the Space, and One Another, we then will talk about the intention and format.

The dance set will be 90 minutes long.

⚠️ Late comers will not be allowed in after the opening circle, so message one of the organizers if you are running late!

📍 Address: 601 Wofford Rd, Durham.

🚗 Parking: Make sure you’re at 601 as google likes to take people to 611. Please park on street. It’s a dead end road so barely traffic. Walk to bottom of driveway around the right side to the back side of the house to the patio door entrance. Do not go to the front door.
